Remington College's “Adopt Our School” Program Benefits Public Schools

At Remington College, we put a premium on making sure we have modern facilities and well-equipped classrooms and labs, and we know that it is a struggle for many public schools in our campus communities. That's why Remington College donated $2,000 in school supplies to one public school in each area we have a campus. Parents, teachers, faculty and staff of schools vote for the winner and the children benefit!

School wins $2,000 in art supplies from Remington College.

The votes are in and Stanford Montessori Design Center will receive $2,000 worth of art supplies from Remington College - Nashville Campus.

Stanford Montessori received the most votes in Remington College’s Adopt Our School program, an effort by Remington College to assist local public schools with up to $2,000 worth of school supplies. The winning school was chosen by the public through Facebook and text message voting.

The staff at Stanford Montessori Design Center has requested art supplies and will receive dozens of packages of construction paper, drawing paper, several gallons of paint, brushes, markers, scissors and more – all items that the school does not have funding for during tight budget times.

The art supplies will be delivered to the school on Wednesday, April 27th at 1:30 p.m. The school is located at 2417 Maplecrest Drive in Nashville. Media are invited to cover the event.

The goal of the program is to help out public schools in Remington College campus communities at a time when school budgets are very tight.

“We congratulate Stanford Montessori and are thrilled to be able to provide them with art supplies,” said Larry Collins, Remington College - Nashville Campus President. “We know all public schools are struggling with their budgets and we’re happy to be able to help out one of our local schools with some much-needed educational materials.”
