Remington College – Tampa Campus Adds Evening Classes to Cosmetology Program
Diploma program trains students for jobs in cosmetology field*
Tampa, FL – (January 22, 2010) - Remington College–Tampa Campus is adding evening classes as an option for students in its Cosmetology Diploma Program.
Classes in the evening program will be held Monday-Thursday from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Our goal in expanding our class availability is to make it more convenient for our students,' said Dr. Rosalie Lampone, President of the Remington College-Tampa Campus. 'We understand the difficulty associated with balancing work, family and school.'
Remington College-Tampa Campus is now enrolling students for the new evening classes.
The Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in the 'The Salon at Remington', which allows students to work with real clients.
In addition to books, equipment and supplies, included in the cost of tuition, each student in the Cosmetology Program will also receive a styling kit (retail value of approximately $2000) to use during their enrollment. The kit includes shears, combs, rollers, a flat iron and other styling essentials, which the students can keep upon graduation.
Remington College–Tampa Campus, formerly known as Tampa Technical Institute, offers several degree programs, including Computer and Network Administration and Criminal Justice and several diploma programs such as Medical Assisting, Electronic Technology, Cosmetology and Personal Fitness Trainer. The campus is located at 6302 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
