Lisa Purcell came to Remington College – Tampa Campus looking for a fresh start. A student in her late 40s, Lisa excelled academically from day one, mostly due to her determination to succeed. Lisa struggled for years with health problems, but this time she was determined not to let that interfere with her ability to finish school. And she did so with a 3.7 GPA.

Tampa, FL - August 8, 2008 – Beth Horn is passionate about fitness. This is evident when you talk to the former college gymnast and National Fitness Champion who portrays the character “Venom” on NBC’s American Gladiators. The charismatic Horn savors her role as Venom, but she is equally devoted to her career as a personal fitness trainer. On August 21, she will be on hand to commemorate the grand opening of a new campus and the new personal trainer certification program at Remington College in Tampa.  Read more >

After more than 36,000 votes from parents and public schools eager to fill needs in the classroom, Remington College is proud to announce the winners from its inaugural “Adopt Our School” program. Schools competed for up to $2,000 worth of school supplies of their choice, courtesy of Remington College. This February marked the fourth year that Remington College celebrated Black History Month at its Tampa Campus with story, song, and food. The month-long celebration culminated on February 25, as students and staff prepared and shared their cultural dishes as part of an activity called Taste of the World.   Read more >
