The Business Administration Program provides training in the skills and knowledge that can help you qualify for an entry-level position in a variety of office support roles.
No matter what their size, many businesses need people who are trained in day-to-day office support services to help in areas like secretarial support and reception, administration, payroll, information and data processing, printing and reproduction, records management, procurement, and supply. In small companies, one person may oversee all of these office or business support services.
The Business Administration Program trains you in business-related accounting software and computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. As a student in this Program, you will also be trained in the basics of payroll administration, employee benefits and bookkeeping.
When you complete the Business Administration Program, you will be awarded an Associate of Science or an Associate of Applied Science Degree and can have the basic skills and knowledge to begin your career in an office support role, such as general office specialist, bookkeeper, accounting assistant, payroll accountant, office clerk, or administrative assistant.
