Remington College offers an associate's degree in Computer and Network Administration that can give you the skills that may prepare you for a career in the computer network, security, installation and maintenance field.

This program provides training in current computer networking technologies, including:

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of local and wide-area networks
• Security best practices
• Microsoft Active Directory principles
• Networking fundamentals
• Desktop and server operating systems and applications

Training That Starts with the Basics

We provide you with training in how to install, configure, maintain, and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet systems, and wireless configurations that use a diverse number of network operating systems.

This 24-month program is designed to prepare you for entry-level positions such as:

• Network Operator
• Computer Network Administrator
• Network Support Technician
• Computer Help Desk Specialist
• Computer Support Specialist
• Information Technology Support Specialist

The Microsoft IT Academy

Within the Computer and Network Administration curriculum, you have the opportunity to earn up to six Microsoft certifications through the Microsoft IT Academy. These courses are designed to help you achieve certifications as either a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician or a Microsoft Certified System Administrator.

Laptop Included in Tuition

As part of this program, Remington College also offers you the use of a laptop computer that can be used in school and at home. The laptop comes equipped with the necessary IT academy programs and configurations. Your initial cost of tuition covers the cost of using this laptop throughout the program, and it’s yours to keep when you graduate.
