Criminal Justice Associate Degree graduates from any Remington College campus can apply for admission into this program.
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice is designed to provide specific, in-depth professional courses in such topics as contemporary corrections, safety and risk management, and criminal justice management. Theoretical knowledge is integrated with the applied techniques. The curriculum is designed for both those students with a previous background in the field and those students that are looking at entering the field for the first time. At the conclusion of the program, students can be prepared to purse employment or advancement in several career specialties including law-enforcement, courts, and corrections.
A minimum of 180 quarter credit hours (90 quarter credit hours in associate or lower level and 90 quarter credit hours in bachelor upper level coursework) is required for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Students who enroll in lower and upper level courses at Remington College will graduate with a total of 186 credit hours. Specific entrance requirements and prerequisites may be found in the "Admissions Requirements" section of the catalog.
Program completion normally requires 42 months for full time students. Upon successful completion of all areas of the program, graduates will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
