The Electronics and Computer Technology program explores both basic and advanced theory in electronics, integrated circuits, microprocessors, and computer technology. As part of the program, you'll take part in hands-on electronic and computer laboratory experiences. You will also receive training in the basics of digital computers as well as the various types and uses of electronic test equipment.
Upon successful completion of the 24-month program, you'll be awarded an Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics and Computer Technology. With your degree, you may be qualified for entry-level positions like Computer Service Technician, Electronic Laboratory Technician, Field Service Technician, Installation Technician, Electronic Technician, or Sales Representive in the communications, instrumentation, digital, and computer electronics fields.
