The Operations Management Technology program helps prepare you for beginning or advancing your career in business and industry. The course content and instruction provides you with a basis for developing sound decision-making skills and problem-solving behaviors. The program introduces you to the technical skills needed in entry-level managerial positions within a business. You will also be introduced to practical concepts in economics, managerial accounting, marketing, total quality management (TQM), statistics, and sociology.
When you complete the this program, you'll be awarded a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Operations Management Technology. As a graduate, you may qualify for a broad range of operations and/or managerial positions such as Administrative Services and Facilities Manager, Management Analyst, or a General Manager of a service or retail business.
