Special Education – Neurodiversity Studies - Master's Degree

The Master of Arts in Special Education – Neurodiversity Studies at Remington College is designed to be a 10-month, fully online graduate program designed to help educators support and understand neurodivergent students. Program Overview

Remington College’s Master of Arts in Special Education –The objective of this program is to advance the skills of professionals across a wide range of fields; including education, health and human services, behavioral health, social work, counseling, nonprofit and advocacy organizations, community programs, and allied health professions who support, educate, or advocate for individuals with neurodiverse profiles in various settings.

The admissions process involves a formal application and transcript review.

  • Application: After speaking with Admissions, you’ll need to complete the application. This will ask for basic personal information and details about your educational background. Make sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information to ensure a smooth review process.
  • Transcripts: Applicants must provide documentation of a bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited college or university. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended must be submitted as part of the application process. To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Applicant has an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, or
    • Applicant has an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher in last 60 semester hours, area of study, or in graduate-level work, or
    • Applicant has five years of professional experience, as documented on their resume.
