Subjects of study in our HVAC school include the inner workings of automated and motor controls, ventilation and refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems, domestic appliances, heat pumps, hydronic heating systems, and more. If you’re someone who performs maintenance, service, repair, or disposal that could release refrigerants (and the chemicals in them) from appliances into the atmosphere, you will be required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to hold specific certifications to ensure that the refrigerants are handled correctly.*
Since opening our doors in 1990, we’ve been providing relevant, hands-on diploma and degree programs in a variety of fields that are expected to be in demand and may help you get closer to the kind of career you’ve been looking for.*
Our Electrician diploma program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to pursue a career as an electrician. The program typically covers a range of topics, including electrical theory, circuitry, wiring, safety protocols, and the use of tools and equipment. Students gain hands-on experience through practical lab work, which may involve installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. The curriculum also often includes instruction on local electrical codes and regulations, preparing graduates to take licensing exams and enter the workforce as qualified electricians.
